Measurement System Analysis

Decisions are based on data in quality. This data is collected with help of a defined measurement system of the organization comprises of Gage, Operator and Part, hence it is required that the said measurement system is really good to make good decision. Measurement system analysis confirms adequacy of measurement system. A measurement study tests and scores the gage and operator. The gage is scored on Repeatability and the operator is scored on Reproducibility. Whereas the part to part error is introduced by the process and measured by the part variation. The combined analysis of the error introduced by the Gage, Operator, and Part in the measurement is called the Measurement system analysis.
